Welcome!

What we do: We group quilt!

What's unique about us: We each make 'parts' of a quilt from our own homes across the country and mail them to one or more of us to assemble the top and complete the quilt.

How it began: We made a benefit quilt - Several family members each made a block incorporating the white ribbon representing battered woman and mailed them to Helen who constructed the top. We all met at Helen's for a weekend of tying and binding the quilt.

Who we are today: We are a group of family members and friends that love to group quilt. We live in several states from Vermont to California or New England to the West Coast (Barb Cornish worked on one quilt - she lives in Maine so I guess we could say we are coast to coast!). We are computer programmers, engineers, doctors, nurses, mamographers, farmers, xray techs, office managers, students, sisters, moms, aunts, and grandmothers. We are both novice and experienced quilters.

Who we make them for: We make charity quilts and quilts for family.

We call ourselves the "Sew Sew Sisterhood!"
